MICROBLADING - PRE & POST AFTERCARE

GENERAL INFO

3D microblading is the Japanese method of semi-permanent brows and is a manual, non-machine method which is relatively new to the UK.

Unlike permanent tattooed eyebrows, the microblading method has no spilling under the skin; making the aftercare of your eyebrow treatment much less intensive.

Microblading is considered to be semi-permanent as it’s compared to the traditional hair stroke machine technique. It is done using a very fine blade (made up of 10-16 tiny, fine needles configured into a blade shape) to deposit pigments into the top layers of the skin.

Because we’re impacting colour closer to the top skin surface, the strokes appear and remain crisp and extremely fine.

This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows without it looking overly obvious. The results are very natural looking and leave feathered hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow colour and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into the existing hairs.

People suffering from alopecia, or any other condition that causes hair loss, benefit greatly from microblading, as well as people who simply aren’t happy with their eyebrows but do not wish to have a dark and defined brows.

The results of microblading are natural, flawless, fuller looking eyebrows. Initially the brows appear darker but fade significantly over a two-week period. It is crucial to have a touch up done as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment.

The results can last anywhere from 9- 12 months depending on different factors such as; clients skin type, sun exposure, chemicals contained in creams and beauty products applied to the skin.

PRE PROCEDURE ADVICE

What Shall I Do Before Receiving My Permanent Cosmetic Enhancement ?

Prior to your permanent cosmetic enhancement think about the look that you wish to achieve. As experts in the field of colour analysis and makeovers, we ensure that the correct colours and styles are chosen for you, however you are part of the decision making process.

Permanent cosmetic enhancements normally require multiple application sessions. To achieve the best results you will be required to return for at least one control procedure four to six weeks after the initial application.

Be prepared for the colour intensity to be significantly sharper and darker immediately after the procedure. This will subside and become softer as the skin heals. This process can take up to fourteen days.

We recommend that you use a gentle facial cleanser to freshen your skin during the first week. Do not splash wash your face. Do however clean your enhancement twice daily with damp cotton pads.

Apply a thick layer of Vaseline to your enhancement when washing your hair to prevent it from becoming wet. Remove the Vaseline with damp cotton pads.
